SWAN LAKE

Rehearsals are well underway for the Greater Niagara Ballet Company‘s first ever full length performance of Swan Lake, which is happening 8/1/25-8/2/25 at the University at Buffalo’s Drama Theatre in the Center for the Arts! ARTSPARK DAY

I was honored to have been a part of the first ArtSpark Day (April 2025) at Chautauqua Lake to teach dance to their middle school and high school students.  Artspark was created by the Chautauqua Lake school district with support from Jamestown Public Schools and Chautauqua Institution, as part of their Kennedy Center Partners in Education program. All three entities share a commitment to expanding meaningful, accessible arts education opportunities for students. It was a great experience to work with the students, staff, and other artists!

NEW DIRECTOR OF TWO DANCE COMPANIES

2022 has been a busy year. I have two new positions: co-Artistic Director of the Greater Niagara Ballet Company and Executive Director of the Main St. 56 Dance Company.

Both companies are ramping up for Fall and for new dance seasons. I’ll be posting more about their events here in the coming weeks.

ZODIAQUE DANCE COMPANY – Film Premiere

The University at Buffalo Department of Theatre and Dance presents the 46th season of Zodiaque Dance Company (ZDC), UB’s premiere resident student dance ensemble.The group’s annual fall program will have public performances at UB Center for the Arts Drama Theatre in Amherst, NY on Thursday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 2 p.m.

My film, As Within So Without, created with company dancers, will be shown as part of the concert. Film locations at the University, in the city of Buffalo and Rochester provide the backdrop for the ensemble piece.
